Cory Bennett

Cory has been active for his entire life. He grew up involved with extreme sports and moved on to play football throughout high school and college. From football he developed a passion for training, not only for his own personal fitness, but inspiring others as well. Cory started his personal training journey at his campus recreation center with all populations, from college athletes to senior citizens. Cory has also been a football coach, group fitness instructor and sports performance coach, and is currently pursuing the certified strength and conditioning specialist certification as a student of the M.S. Exercise Science program. He not only serves as a personal trainer, but is also the UWF Recreation and Sports Services Fitness and Wellness Graduate Assistant.

 

Kelsey Bruchal

Kelsey is from Stuart, Florida and has had a passion for fitness ever since she started exercising in high school. She has played multiple sports growing up ranging anywhere from cheerleading, gymnastics and dance to softball and basketball. She is pursuing a degree in exercise science and after graduating would like to continue her education by attending graduate school to become a strength and conditioning coach for a sports team. With her love of fitness, she wants to help other people achieve their fitness goals.

 

Chris Byrne

Chris Byrne is from Blountstown, Florida and he loves doing anything outdoors and fitness, especially hunting, fishing, paintball, and working out.  He won state weightlifting his high school senior year in the 154 pound class and took first place in three categories in the Pensacola Flex Fest. Chris is pursuing a degree in exercise science and plans to be a strength coach, eventually owning his own gym. His professional development continues as he pursues his pro-card in NPC bodybuilding.



Justin Iserman

Justin was born in Columbus, GA but was raised here in Pensacola, Florida. He has a bachelors degree in exercise science and looking to get his masters in dietetics. Justin has his primary personal trainer certification. He played numerous sports but specialized on soccer and tennis. Justin played for the soccer team at Spring Hill College in 2009, and transferred here to UWF a year later.  He also works at the UWF rockwall as a climbing instructor. 

Brianna Lee

Brianna is from Swansboro, North Carolina. She grew up playing soccer and running cross country, and has recently begun to revolve her fitness life around weight training and competing in figure competitions. She is an exercise science major and hope to one day be a strength and conditioning coach for a college team. She loves motivating others to be fit and to reach their goals, and is excited to share her passions every opportunity she gets.

Taylor moved to Pensacola 7 years ago to continue his education. He has earned a Bcachelor’s Degree in exercise science from UWF and is an ACSM certified Personal Trainer. After starting his exercise science degree, Taylor fell in love with living a healthy lifestyle and lost 15 pounds. He chose to become a personal trainer to help educate and inspire those who also seek results of healthy lifestyle changes. He is an experienced cook and a self-proclaimed grill master. His favorite group fitness classes are boot camp, hardCORE, and stretch yoga. His hobbies include resistance training, group fitness, grilling, and outdoor experiences such as fishing, biking, canoeing and paddle boarding. He looks forward to helping his clients achieve the successes they deserve through hard work and effective lifestyle change.

Matt Ramirez

Matt is originally from Tallahassee, FL. Having come from a military family, exercise has been an integral part of his life by participating in activities ranging from rugby to baseball as well as military-style training. Having developed a love of fitness throughout his life, Matt now wishes to share his knowledge and experience with others to assist to them in achieving their fitness goals. By incorporating strength and intense aerobic training into his exercise regimen, Matt intends to pursue a career as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
