Raise the Dead 2.0

In the spirit of Halloween, contestants will test their physical and mental limits by performing deadlifts for as many repetitions as possible.


Who is Eligible?

Any individual who has access to the fitness center in the Health, Leisure and Sports Facility can participate.

How Do I Get Started?

Sign up at the lower fitness center desk and collect a logbook to keep track of your progress.

What rules are associated with Raise the Dead?

In the spirit of Halloween, contestants will test their physical and mental limits by performing deadlifts for as many repetitions as possible.

Each week, the weight will progress as follows:

Week 1: 135 (Female)/ 185 (Male)

Week 2: 160 (Female)/ 225 (Male)

Week 3: 185 (Female)/ 275 (Male)

Week 4: 205 (Female)/ 315 (Male)

The scoring will be based upon repetitions performed and body weight using the following formula:

(Repetitions x Weight Lifted)/Bodyweight

After each workout in the fitness center, either in upper or lower fitness, have a fitness monitor date and initial your logbook.
