Pool Parties and Group Rentals

Looking for a great way to recognize and reward your child, classroom students or youth group? Let us provide an inexpensive, safety conscious, clean, fun venue for your outing.


Aquatics  Banner Pool Parties

Group outings and private rentals are part of the Aquatic Center's offerings. Established as tradition in the 1970's, panhandle schools, churches and community groups continue to bring youth to the pool celebrating milestones, hosting award ceremonies and rewarding students for outstanding behavior and accomplishments.

The UWF Aquatic Center is available on a limited basis for group activities' rentals. All rentals must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance to the Aquatic Director. Rental rates vary depending on group classification and rental time period.

Rental rates include access to the pool and locker rooms. Regular group facility usage will require user agreement.

Birthday Parties

Birthday and Small Group Parties

All party participants receive an explanation of the rules and, for those who wish to swim in the deep water or use the diving boards, a swim test. A successful completion of the swim test is any person who is 1) comfortable in deep water, 2) can tread water or back float, and 3) swim 25 yards without stopping. There is an additional height requirement (4’10” minimum) for 3M diving board use. Lifejackets are available on pool deck at no additional charge. Standard, Deluxe and Premium party packages available.


Deluxe
Party

$60 + $3/person

$50 non-refundable deposit required one week prior to party date

2 hour party includes reserved indoor space for refreshments and a Deluxe Games Coordinator.


Olympic Challenge Premium
 Party

$180 for 10 children ($12 for each additional child)

$50 non-refundable deposit required one week prior to party date

 

Facilitated by an Olympics Games Coordinator, this party is full of fun competitions for future Olympians of all ages and skill levels. Activities include team relays, lifejacket competitions, diving board challenges, treasure hunt and more! This 2 hour party includes reserved space for refreshments indoors.


Water Safety Premium Party

$180 for 10 children; $12 for each additional child
$50 non-refundable deposit required one week prior to party date

 

Lead with an instructional emphasis by a Water Safety Games Coordinator, this party is designed to provide your future lifeguard with knowledge and experiences regarding self-help and out-of-the-water techniques to help others. Basic water safety knowledge and skills introduced; includes an understanding of the importance of constant and dedicated surveillance and knowing when and how to get help. This 2 hour party is available to all ages and skills levels. Reserved indoor space for refreshments included.


Log Rolling Premium
 Party

$240 for 10 children; $15 for each additional child

$50 non-refundable deposit required one week prior to party date

 

Have a party like no other you’ve experienced! This party offers an introduction to the great American sport of log rolling. Available to all ages and skills levels, log rolling party participants gain endless rewards as they remain atop the log for longer and longer periods. Parents, don’t tell the kids, but this 2 hour sport party promotes balance, leg and core strength and cardiovascular endurance. Trained Log Rolling Games Coordinator and reserved indoor space included.


Inflatable Obstacle Course Premium
 Party

$300 for 10 children; $15 for each additional child

$50 non-refundable deposit required one week prior to party date

 

On your mark, get set, splash through this fun filled 2 hour deep-water, floating, obstacle course party. Party participants must be at least 6 years old and able to successfully complete the 25 yard swim test. Inside reserved space for refreshments and Games Coordinator included.

Inclement weather may require all parties to exit the water until the all clear signal is given. Aquatic Center does not refund money. 

Event Planning Tips

 

Safety Protocols

  • A "Rules Rap" is given to set the tone for your event.
  • Passing a 25-yard swim test is required to use the diving boards.
  • Swimmers ill-at-ease in deep water will be restricted to the shallow end.
  • 4'10" is the minimum height required to use the high dive.
  • Coast Guard approved Lifejackets are available for non-swimmers.
  • Lifejacket wearers are limited to the shallow end.
  • Personal inflatable floats used to support weak or non-swimmers are not allowed in the facility.
  • Lightning may close the pool until the storm has passed.
  • Lifeguard staff have complete authority regarding patron safety.
  • Refrain from using glass containers, chewing gum or hard candies while in the pool area.
  • Personal grills are allowed in the Sun Yard.
  • No alcoholic beverages permitted.
  • Coolers welcome.
  • Trash and recycle receptacles are on deck for waste and recycle disposal.
  • Reservations are required and advanced bookings are encouraged.
