The UWF Aquatic Center offers a wide variety of activities for the community to enjoy. From swimming lessons, to American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification, to relaxing in the whirlpool or dry sauna, there's something for everyone to enjoy! What is the size of the pool?

The pool at the UWF Aquatic Center is an Olympic size pool. It measures 25 yards by 50 meters.

How many laps would I need to complete in order to swim one mile?

In order to swim one mile, you would need to complete 36 laps.

What is the volume of the water in the pool?

The UWF Aquatic Center pool holds 625,000 gallons of water.

What is the temperature of the water in the pool?

The pool temperature is regulated at 82° year round.

How is the pool setup?

The pool is setup with 25 yard lap lanes year round.

How deep is the pool?

The UWF Aquatic Center pool ranges in depth from 4'2" to 14' 8".

What type of diving boards are available at the UWF Aquatic Center?

The UWF Aquatic Center pool has both 1 meter and 3 meter spring boards.

How many people will the whirlpool hold?

The co-ed whirlpool will hold up to nine (9) people.

How many people will the dry sauna hold?

The co-ed dry sauna will hold up to six (6) people.
