The Quality Enhancement Plan is an action plan that consists of:

  • Goals: The QEP establishes well-defined and realistic goals focused on desired student learning outcomes (SLOs) and/or the environment supporting student learning.

  • Desired Student Learning Outcomes: Desired student learning outcomes must be clearly defined, achievable, and measurable. The desired SLOs frame the plan that must be submitted to and approved by SACSCOC.

  • Plan for Implementation: The University must clearly identify the actions; timelines; and necessary human, financial, and physical resources to ensure successful implementation and sustainability. Progress on implementation of the QEP must be provided after five years.

  • Assessment: A comprehensive evaluation plan will need to be developed to measure progress towards the QEP-defined goals.
