First Time in College (FTIC) Orientation
FTIC students must attend an on-campus orientation session. To complete your orientation requirement, you must stay for the entire orientation. If you leave orientation early, you will not have your orientation hold removed, and you may not be able to register for classes. Meals will be included, along with coffee and danishes during morning check-in.
During orientation, you will receive information about various campus services and opportunities; meet with an academic advisor to create your class schedule; register for classes; and interact with other students, faculty and staff.
Students, parents and family members must register and pay for orientation on MyUWF. Directions: Go to MyUWF, log in using your UWF ID #, search and click Orientation Registration for Undergraduate Students, select your admittance semester (ex. Fall 2015) and complete the reservation. Please note that we do not offer a sibling program during orientation. If siblings attend, their lunch will need to be paid out of pocket.
Edits to Your Registration
You may change sessions, add a parent or family member, or make other edits to your orientation registration even after submitting your payment; however, orientation fees are non-refundable. Edits to your orientation registration may be completed up to one week prior to your orientation session on MyUWF. If you request edits to your registration less than one week prior to your orientation, you must consult with Student Transition Programs at (850) 473-7229 or firstname.lastname@example.org. To edit your orientation registration, go to MyUWF, log in using your UWF ID #, search and click Orientation Registration for Undergraduate Student (where your completed application will appear), click on Edit My Orientation Registration, and choose your preferred orientation date.

Check-In and Parking for Fall 2015 FTIC Students, Parents & Families
Follow the orientation check-in signs when you arrive on campus. Students should bring a photo ID (ex. Driver's License, Passport, or State/Government issued photo ID), rain gear, umbrella, and immunization information (if records have not yet been submitted). You will receive a printed schedule of events and other materials at check-in.

All fees associated with orientation are non-refundable. This includes student and guest registration fees, cancellations, student and guest reservation changes, meals, overnight housing for students, tax, program materials, etc. Once you register for orientation, you will be prompted to pay orientation fees. Your spot at orientation will be reserved upon payment completion. Orientation fees are not refundable, so be very certain before you make your reservations.
