In 2009, UWF entered into an agreement with Strategic Marketing Affiliates in order to manage the University’s licensing program for both the athletic and institutional logos. SMA monitors the sale of all UWF branded items; provides the ability for representatives from the University to monitor the use of the logos and graphics for review/approval; ensures vendors have the appropriate insurance; and helps market UWF products to retail outlets.
Understanding the significance of branding and the incredibly powerful impact it can have on the success of our institution is paramount to identifying ways in which you can help solidify, reinforce and ultimately communicate who we are. Every experience and every encounter someone has with UWF must be a reflection of our brand if we are to continue building equity in it.
