Ashley Armbruster, OTR/L

University Honors Scholar, Spring 2010

Ashley Armbruster, a Spring 2010 University Honors Scholar, earned a B.A. in Psychology at UWF. Following her graduation from UWF, Ashley attended the University of Florida where she completed a Master’s in Occupational Therapy (MOT).

“The most valuable class for me was the Honors [General] Psychology class. It introduced me to interactive learning and higher-level reasoning,” Ashely reflected in fall 2015. “I feel that the learning experience in this class continues to inspire me to challenge the way I learn and teach others.”

Now working in the specialized field of hand therapy, Ashley is preparing to take the board exams to become a Certified Hand Therapist.

“I currently live in California with my husband and two cats. We love to camp, cook, and do yoga,” wrote Ashley, who married on November 1, 2015.
