International Affairs

International Affairs fosters a climate of inclusive excellence in today’s global society. This unit encourages greater understanding of the global community for students, faculty, staff and the greater community through academic and cultural programming, as well as support services.

What We Do

International Affairs is the central hub of internationalization at the University of West Florida. International Affairs provides the student body and community with globally-minded, high-impact learning opportunities. Bringing Japan to Pensacola, the Japan Center engages the university and community with language and cultural opportunities. Exchange programs and UWF Global Quarter offer students an opportunity to directly participate in global citizenship. International Programs facilitates strategic partnerships connecting UWF to a global network. English as a Second Language training is provided to students from around the world at the Intensive English Program. In addition, International Programs brings international scholars and students from around the world to UWF.
