Internal auditing is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization's operations. It evaluates the University's compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
Internal audits are determined based on a risk assessment of the University. They are performed in accordance with the annual work planned which is approved by the President and the Board of Trustees.
Audits are examinations of operations, functions, or programs. UWF audits are performed in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
