- Web Manager
Christina Anderson is the Web Manager for Institutional Communications. She possesses a strong background in script programming and graphic design and works closely with the department as well as the growing community of content providers across the university, assisting with content integration and development in the campus web content management system. Christina graduated with honors from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor's in Graphic Design and her extensive coursework in fine art and graphic design at both the University of North Carolina at Asheville and the University of West Florida provided her with an eclectic mix of skills and influences in a wide variety of media. This diversity gives her a wonderful advantage when it comes to web development as it provides her with a unique perspective on design.
No stranger to the tech world, Christina began building PCs and programming them in her early childhood as she grew up in Atlanta, Ga. From there she made her way to Pensacola, FL, where she obtained her A.A. from Pensacola State with a focus of Fine Art. While she began her B.A. at UNCA, she returned to Pensacola to complete it here at UWF. During her coursework, she interned within the Graphic Design department, creating its first ever web catalog for the 2013 TAGGED: Student Art Show. She also became one of the founding members of Alpha Epsilon Rho, the UWF chapter of the National Broadcasting Society (NBS/AERho).
Christina is an avid gamer and even keeps a part-time job at a video game store on the weekends. She is also pursuing her M.S. at UWF in Software Engineering.
