ITS Basics

This workshop is designed for all UWF faculty and staff. This workshop will provide a general overview of ITS services including:

Classroom Technology Open Help Sessions

The Open Help sessions are for walk-in questions and assistance with Classroom Technology. This workshop is for all faculty. 

eClassroom Technology Overview

The eClassroom Orientation provides a hands-on session in operating the classroom lectern and a general overview of Classroom Technology features. New ITS tools and services will also be presented. This workshop is for all faculty. 

Atomic Learning

Atomic Learning provides video based online tutorials on Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Prezi, APA & MLA Style, and many more technology topics. Atomic Learning tutorials can be integrated into UWF websites, emails, and eLearning. This workshop is for all faculty and staff.

Prezi

Prezi is a presentation tool similar to PowerPoint. Prezi allows  users to create unique and engaging  presentations with unlimited possibilities and styles. This workshop is for all faculty and staff.

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra can be used as a video conferencing tool in the office and in the classroom. Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is available to all UWF faculty and staff. Ultra can be accessed through MyUWF. This workshop is for all faculty and staff.

Clickers

Audience Response “Clickers” are used with PowerPoint presentations to engage and assess participants. The traditional handheld clicker as well as the clicker app will be demonstrated during this workshop. This workshop is for all faculty and staff.

Google Drive / Docs

Google docs can be used to create, share, and collaborate anywhere. Google docs can be used to complete group projects, presentations, spreadsheets, papers, and data collection. This workshop is for all faculty and staff.

Lecture Capture and Video Conferencing Tools

Overview of campus video conference, lecture capture, and presentation capture tools including Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, Blue Jeans, SnagIt, and Camtasia. This workshop is for all faculty and staff.

Microsoft Software Training Orientation

The Microsoft Software Training Orientation provides an overview of how to access Atomic Learning and the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint video series that are necessary to complete the Human Resources Administrative Certificate. This workshop is for all faculty and staff.

Prezi

Qualtrics

Qualtrics is a survey tool that is open to UWF faculty, staff, and students and can be accessed through MyUWF. There is also an online Qualtrics video series at Qualtrics University. This workshop is for all faculty and staff.

SMART Boards and Podiums

SMART products provide active and engaging ways to interact with content.  Workshop will provide an overview of  SMART Sympodiums, Boards, and 3D  document cameras. This workshop is for all faculty and staff.
