Title IX NOTICE

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination based on sex/gender in federally-funded programs or activities. The University of West Florida does not discriminate on the basis of sex/gender in its educational programs or activities. The university’s policies related to Title IX are the Sexual Misconduct and Gender-Based Discrimination Policy (P-14.01-11/13) and the University Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation (P-13.03-05/10).

For inquiries concerning the application of Title IX and the federal regulations associated with the law, please contact the Title IX Coordinator (contact information is below). Students or employees who believe they are being discriminated against or harassed on the basis of sex/gender can seek advice and assistance and report incidents or file complaints with any of the following UWF individuals:
