Argie Spirit

Southside Bld 14 (Open Fall 2015 & Spring 2016)

Do you have school spirit? Do you enjoy intramural sports? Do you want to get more involved? Argie Spirit is the place for you! In this themed community, all students will have the opportunity to get involved in athletic and Homecoming events throughout the school year. This community is for First-Time In College students.

The Leadership House

Southside Bld 15 (Open Fall 2015 & Spring 2016)

This community is home to the new Leadership House - a leadership involvement community for First-Time In College students.

Argos Give Back

Southside Bld 16 (Open Fall 2015 & Spring 2016)

The Argos Give Back themed community engages students in a unique combination of activities designed to enhance their academic, social and civic development. Students will experience many aspects of our campus and local communities, challenge their individual and collective knowledge and values, and integrate their academic studies with community work. This community is for First-Time In College students.

Outdoor Experience

Southside Blds 23 & 24 (Open Fall 2014, Spring 2015, Fall 2015 & Spring 2016)

The Outdoor Experience themed community is focused on outdoor recreation such as hiking, camping, canoeing, rock climbing, and other activities. Residents will learn more about outdoor recreation from the outdoor adventure staff. Benefits for outdoor adventure trips and events include early registration for events. Global Living Community

Southside Blds 25 & 28 (Open Fall 2014, Spring 2015, Fall 2015 & Spring 2016)

Are you interested in living with students from other countries and learning more about their cultures while sharing your own culture? This community brings together students from all corners of the world in their own unique community at UWF. Through daily interactions with other residents and special cross-cultural programming, you will learn first-hand about different world perspectives and their global impact. Residents of Global Living agree to share their rooms with students from other cultural backgrounds and live as active participants in the community's various programs. This hall is open to all students.

The Fine and Performing Arts Community

Southside Bld 26 (Open Fall 2014, Spring 2015, Fall 2015 & Spring 2016)

Do you enjoy everything about the arts? Then this is the building for you! This themed community is designed for students that have an interest in fine & performing arts. This community offers an environment supporting students with a shared interest in music, dramatic performance, and artistic expression. This hall is open to all students.

ROTC Community

Southside Bld 27 (Open Fall 2014, Spring 2015, Fall 2015 & Spring 2016)

Reserve Officer Training Corps Community - The ROTC Community is reserved for individuals who are participants in the ROTC program while enrolled at UWF. This hall is open to all students.

The Green House

Southside Bld 29 (Open Fall 2015 & Spring 2016)

This community is home to the new Green House - a sustainability community for everyone! This hall is open to all students.

Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL) Houses

Southside Blds 30, 31, 33, 34, & 35 (Open Fall 2014, Spring 2015, Fall 2015 & Spring 2016)

We have several sorority life houses on campus at UWF. Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Phi Sigma Sigma & Kappa Delta members are able to live in Southside singles on campus. FSL buildings are decorated to the theme of their organization and are a base of operations for the groups.
