The resources below are available to help UWF instructors prepare for the upcoming semester.
The Academic Technology Center (ATC) offers a variety of eLearning training sessions throughout the semester such as "Getting Started with D2L", "Building the Quiz Library & Quizzes", "Discussions", and "Grade Book". "Getting Started with D2L" courses are offered prior to the beginning of the semester and again soon after classes begin. Register online through the Professional Development Reservation Desk in MyUWF.
Classroom Technology Orientation
Classroom Technology Services offers eClassroom orientation sessions in the week prior to the beginning of the semester and again soon after classes begin. Register online through the MyUWF Professional Development Reservation Desk. To find out what technology is available in your classroom, refer to the Classroom List.
MyUWF Instructor Tools
In MyUWF, you will find Instructor Resources, a collection of tools and applications for offering and scheduling courses: eLearning, Faculty & Advisor Services Menu (Banner), Message Composer, Grade Submission, ClassMate, and more.
ClassMate contains information about your courses including class rosters, final exam date/time, and Message Composer. Use ClassMate in MyUWF to post your online syllabus, flag courses as available in eLearning, and request a technology-enhanced classroom.
Technology Resources for Students
The following software and services are available to you and your students. In your course syllabus or eLearning content, you may wish to include this information if relates to your courses. Google Drive and Google Docs, Microsoft Office 365, File Storage, WEPA Printing, eLearning Help, Collaborate Help, and the Student Technology Guide.
