Culturally Specific Organizations
UWF currently has one cultural specific sorority on campus, Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. is an Asian-Interest Sorority. Fraternity & Sorority Life is also working to bring a new cultural specific fraternity to UWF, Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. whom celebrates their Latino heritage. It is the goal of Fraternity & Sorority Life to grow our cultural specific organizations in order to better serve the needs of the UWF students and to develop a Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) at UWF.
Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.
Delta Phi Lambda is an associate member of our Panhellenic Council. Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. is an Asian-Interest Sorority. Delta Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. advocates Asian awareness and empowers women leaders through its values-based programs and everlasting sisterhood. Although an Asian-interest sorority, it is not Asian-exclusive. Delta Phi Lambda hosts its own recruitment events throughout the semester. Once it selects potentials, it has a Membership Intake Process that is much like our NPHC organizations.
