Fraternal Excellence Program

The purpose of the Fraternal Excellence Program is to establish standards to ensure that every Fraternity and Sorority at UWF is well managed and is fully committed to the highest quality of student experience for each of its members and that they are recognized for their achievement of those standards. The standards are the five values of Fraternity & Sorority Life at UWF: Academic Excellence, Ethical Leadership, Community, Personal Development, and Stewardship.

Academic Excellence Award for Individual Performance

The Academic Excellence Award for Individual Performance was designed to honor the individual with the top cumulative GPA for Fraternity & Sorority members in their respective class, freshman through seniors. These leaders have shown drive and dedication to one of our highest standards, Academic Excellence. Overall, these leaders have been role models for Fraternity & Sorority members at UWF showing being involved and achieving high academic goals is possible.

Legacy Award

The Legacy Award was designed to honor the graduating seniors in our Fraternity & Sorority Community who have gone above and beyond being a leader in their chapter. These leaders have been involved on the council level, they have been involved in paving the way for new initiatives in Fraternity & Sorority Life at UWF, and they have served the greater campus as a Fraternal Leader involved in all aspects of campus life. Overall these leaders have left their mark on UWF and their Legacy will be here for many years to come.
