First Year Advising Center

Welcome to the UWF First Year Advising Center. The center is dedicated to helping our freshmen students achieve their academic goals. We are here to help our students succeed!

The First Year Advising Center assists freshman and first-time-in-college students with course selection, registration and degree planning focusing on UWF General Education requirements as well as State of Florida course mandates. The Advising Center is staffed by experienced advisors who help students with their transition into the college environment. Students meet with their assigned academic advisor in one-on-one individualized advising sessions.
