UWF Family Weekend is a way to build school spirit among Argo students and families. All families of current UWF students are invited to visit campus for this special University-wide celebration.

Please make plans to join us September 30, 2016 through October 2, 2016 for a weekend of fun filled activities designed with the entire family in mind. 

Previous Family Weekend Events Have Included:

  • UWF Theater Department Production
  • State of the University Address with President Bense
  • On-Campus and Off-Campus Excursions

How do I register for Family Weekend?

What is the registration fee and what does it include?

Family Weekend 2016 Prices: 

$50 per adult (Non-Parent and Family Association Member, Includes sales tax of $3.49)

$40 per adult (Parent and Family Association Member, Includes sales tax of $2.80)

Free for UWF Student when family member registers

$15 for children 12-3 years of age (Includes sales tax of $1.05)

Free for children 2 years old or younger

Family Weekend Prices Includes: Family Weekend administrative fee, admission into all official Family Weekend events, two meals, a FW souvenir, name badge/event wrist band, and sales tax.

In addition to the Family Weekend registration prices, you may purchase Football Game Tickets and Tailgate Passes for $30 per person on Saturday October 1st. Tickets do not need to be purchased for children 2 and under. Please note that all Family Weekend Football Game Tickets are obstructed view. You can add game tickets to your Family Weekend registration, which will open online in June 2016. Please check back soon for the registration link.

Are refunds available?

All fees associated with Family Weekend are non-refundable, so be sure to carefully review the Family Weekend schedule to inform your decision before making your reservations. 

How do I get to campus?

Driving from Interstate 10

Take Exit 13 (Davis Highway) and go north. Follow the signs to University Parkway. Turn left onto University Parkway. Follow University Parkway until it comes to a dead end. The dead end puts you at Campus Drive. Turn left onto Campus Drive and follow the Family Weekend Check-In signs.

Driving from Highway 90

Turn onto Campus Drive from Highway 90 and follow the Family Weekend Check-In signs.

Air Travel

Commercial air travel is available in Pensacola through the Pensacola International Airport (PNS). We are unable to pick up students, parents or families from the airport due to insurance and liability concerns. We encourage you to either contact a local taxi service or make other travel arrangements before arriving to campus.
