Diversity Plan at UWF

The Diversity Plan outlines strategies and a timeline for achieving the five diversity goals, as well as those units responsible for implementation.


Diversity Plan 2014-2017

 

In 2012 The President’s Council on Diversity and Inclusion was created to advise the President and the administration of The University of West Florida on matters related to diversity and inclusion. The Council includes members of the UWF community and the regional community.

Using a combination of institutional data and survey data, the Council worked with the Chief Diversity Officer to identify 5 overarching goals that the University will work to achieve over the course of the next 3 years (2014 – 2017).

The full plan outlines strategies and a timeline for achieving them as well as those units responsible for implementation. The CDO will work closely with the appropriate units across campus to establish metrics to determine our success. An annual report will be published to highlight the achievements of students, faculty, staff and the community as we work together to meet these goals.
