Meet our Leadership Team
Dr. Joffery Gaymon
Joffery Gaymon currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Affairs. Responsible for directing recruitment and admissions, financial aid, records and registration, and campus wide enrollment management oversight. Gaymon joined UWF in July 2013. Prior UWF, Gaymon served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management & Director of Admissions at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, where she provided comprehensive enrollment strategies and university-wide enrollment management efforts.
Prior to her tenure at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, Gaymon held numerous roles at Georgia College & State University including Senior Associate Director of Admissions, Associate Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Admissions and Acting Director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs. She has also served as a university professor, teaching undergraduate level courses at Georgia College & State University. Dr. Gaymon has chaired and served on numerous committees at all of her previous institutions. As an avid member of her professional community, Gaymon has been involved in selected memberships in both professional and community organizations, including Omicron Delta Kappa, Zeta Phi Beta, Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, Carolina Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, Georgia College & State University Black Alumni Club and Georgia College & State University Board of Directors.
Gaymon is a graduate of Georgia College & State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a master’s degree in Public Administration. She received her doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University in 2013.
The newest member of the Enrollment Affairs Team, Tom comes to us from Montana State University where he was Associate Director of Financial Aid. He brings over 25 years of professional experience in the areas of admissions and financial aid. His Bachelor’s Degree is from Aquinas College in Business and Marketing. Working with the Admissions, Financial Aid, Financial Services, and Registrar’s Offices, Tom will oversee the concept, creation, and implementation, and management of the Argo Central Student Services Office.
Katie has worked at the University of West Florida for over 10 years. She began her career at UWF as an Admissions Recruiter and in June 2013, became the Director of Undergraduate Admissions. Katie received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Alabama in Psychology and her Master’s Degree from Appalachian State University in College Student Development.
Shana joined the Enrollment Affairs team in 2012. Prior to UWF, she served as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid at North Carolina A&T State University. She has over 10 years of professional experience in Financial Aid and is a graduate of James Madison University in Virginia. She is a member of the Florida Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (FASFAA,) the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA) and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA).
Kelley came to UWF from Colorado State University with over 21 years of higher education experience. Kelley earned her Bachelor's degree in Global Business from Arizona State University and her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Kelley chairs the American Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (AACRAO) Academic Progress and Graduation Committee along with being a member of Rocky Mountain American Associate of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (RMACRAO) and Arizona Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers (AzACRAO).
Retired after 21 years of active duty in the Navy, Steve obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems in 2001 from UWF. Prior to joining the Enrollment Affairs department as Information Technology Coordinator, Steve worked part-time as a Veterans Affairs work study. He currently supervises the procurement, configuration, installation, and maintenance support of all Information Technology related items assigned to Enrollment Affairs.
With over 23 years of business management experience, Cindy has been at UWF since 2009. Cindy is responsible for the departmental budgets and financial management, procurement, and staffing. As well as providing Enrollment Affairs with operational management, Cindy is the University’s Commencement Coordinator. Cindy is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
