Sleep Time - Alarm Clock
Sleep Time is the next generation sleep cycle alarm clock that will leave you feeling rested after every night's sleep. Sleep Time uses the sensitive accelerometer in your Android device to detect movements during the night. Our advanced algorithm determines your phase of sleep, and sets off the alarm at the perfect moment. You will wake up at the perfect time...based on sleep rhythms.
Pzizz - Sleep and Power Nap
When you sleep through the night you go through several cycles of NREM and REM sleep approximately every 90 minutes. pzizz Sleep is designed to guide you into deep sleep, which you typically won’t reach in a power nap. Another reason for splitting up the modules is because of the obvious time differences between a full sleep and a power nap. With Sleep you can adjust your time from 10 minutes to 24 hours and with Power Nap you can adjust your time from 10 minutes to 90 minutes. Both modules have their own unique introductory tracks designed specifically to ease you into sleep. These introductory tracks are always the same so that your mind will learn to associate them with sleeping over time. After the introductory tracks are over our patented algorithm kicks in, producing a myriad of sound combinations designed to keep your subconscious occupied while you sleep. With Power Nap there is also an end sequence, or “outro”, that starts near the end of the programmed time. This sequence is designed to gently bring the user out of their nap before their alarm goes off, leaving them refreshed and ready to take on the rest of their day.
How does it work?
Waking up easy is all about timing. Sleep Cycle alarm clock tracks your sleep patterns and wakes you up during light sleep. Waking up during light sleep feels like waking up naturally rested without an alarm clock.
While you sleep, you go through cycles of sleep states. The first state in a sleep cycle is light sleep, followed by deep sleep and a dream state referred to as REM-sleep. A full sleep cycle lasts about 90 minutes and is normally repeated several times each night.
Sleep Cycle alarm clock
Your movements vary with each sleep phase. Sleep Cycle uses sound analysis to identify sleep states by tracking movements in bed. Sleep Cycle uses a wake up phase (30 minutes by default) that ends at your desired alarm time. During this phase Sleep Cycle will monitor signals from your body to wake you softly, when you are in the lightest possible sleep state.
