Supporting LGBTQ+ Students and Coping with Prejudice

A workshop for all staff, faculty, and students!

The workshop aims to increase the understanding of LGBTQ+ identities and the stressors LGBTQ+ students often face. We will review ways to be an ally to LGBTQ+ students and ways to cope with the mental health impacts of prejudice. Along with these tools, we will share relevant resources, on and off-campus, for LGBTQ+ students and allies!

The workshop will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM.

It will be located in the Nautilus Chamber, room 255 on the 2nd floor of the UWF Commons, building 22.
