Guided by the 2012-2017 UWF Strategic Plan, the university is committed to enhancing the quality of life for the citizens and communities we serve through outreach and engagement activities that establish mutually beneficial, productive and sustainable relationships and networks that advance educational, cultural and economic development.
Between 2010 and 2012, UWF engaged in a range of activities to better understand the national, state and regional conditions that have an impact on the University's work and future. As a result the UWF 2012-2017 Strategic Plan was developed around four strategic directions, including Valued Partnerships.
Through UWF’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life of the citizens and communities the institution serves, valued partnerships focus on the educational, cultural and economic development in Northwest Florida through community service and engagement activities by university faculty, staff and students.
