On behalf of the students of the University of West Florida (UWF), thank you for supporting our efforts to prepare students for their future careers. Community & Employer Engagement has an exciting line of educational programming for the upcoming academic year, and we would like to invite you to collaborate with us as an employer partner. Your partnership will enable us to offer valuable opportunities such as student professional development programs, etiquette dinners, and career planning resources.

Custom Partnership Options

Partner with UWF Community & Employer Engagement on an event/program designed to increase student awareness of Community & Employer Engagement offerings such as the Ice Cream Social or Doughnut Days.
Partner with UWF Community & Employer Engagement on an event/program designed to assist students in perfecting their professional image such as a LinkedIn Photo Booth or Prep Place.
Partner with UWF Community & Employer Engagement on an event/program designed to prepare students for their future careers such as Senior Send-Off or Job Shadow Week.
Partner with UWF Community & Employer Engagement to host an Etiquette Dinner designed to teach students dining etiquette in a professional setting.
Employer of the Month Program
Community & Employer Engagement wants to recognize your organization and efforts to recruit our students and alumni! #iHireUWF will provide our office with a platform to highlight your organization, brand, and relationship with UWF.
Each month of the academic year, one organization will be selected based on one of the following criteria:
- Organization attended an event or hosted a Meet & Greet/On-Campus Interview.
- Organization completed the Handshake Feedback survey (survey is emailed or a Community & Employer Engagement staff member will call of job posting closing), reported a hire to the Community & Employer Engagement staff, or utilized the #iHireUWF hashtag on social media within the selected month.
Note: At this time we are using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for this program.
Ex: Social media sample postings using the #iHireUWF: interview with a UWF alumni working for your company, advice to students/graduates, feature of a recently hired student/alumni, etc.
The Employer of the Month selection will be made by the Community & Employer Engagement staff as close to the first of the month as possible. The organization selected will receive a #iHireUWF window decal and a tabletop pop-up banner to be displayed for the month following their selection (if local). Additionally, the organization will be promoted on Community & Employer Engagement's social media as our #iHireUWF Employer of the Month.
