Welcome To Testing Services

University Testing Services' role is to advance UWF's mission, vision, and priorities by providing the University, northwest Florida and southeast Alabama communities standardized testing services which meets the needs of its clients. This web site provides links to national and state examinations offered on campus at the University of West Florida.


As part of the Center for Academic Success, UWF Testing Services serves the University and other entities by providing information and test administration services for UWF students as well as members of the community needing proctored or standardized testing services.

Testing Services administers examinations required for admission to colleges, graduate and professional schools such as the ACT, SAT, GRE, MAT, LSAT, TEAS, and TOEFL. We also offer other exams required for professional licensure or certification such as CHES, CLA/CP, and Praxis. Additionally, proctored exam service is available for students enrolled in UWF online courses, UWF students needing a make-up exam, or students enrolled at other institutions who need exams proctored. Testing Services also administers all accommodated exams for students registered with Student Accessibility Resources.

Testing Services includes 5 testing rooms with a total of 30 testing stations. These stations are audio/video monitored and are equipped for both computer-based and paper-based exams. Part of the testing space is exclusively contracted with Educational Testing Service (ETS) to administer their suite of computer-based examinations. Additional space is used to administer other computer-based exams from vendors such as Pearson, Castle, Pan, and the College Board.
