Part-Time Job Fair

Sept. 5 | 1–4 p.m.
University Commons Auditorium

Searching for part-time work while balancing your class schedule and assignments can be difficult. Make it easier by attending the Part-Time Job Fair. Local employers will be on campus looking for UWF students to fill open positions, many with flexible schedules. UWF departments will also be showcasing their on-campus jobs available to students. This is your all-in-one job search event to kick off the academic year.

Professional and Graduate School Expo

Sept. 26 | noon–3 p.m.
University Commons Auditorium

Do you take the GRE, GMAT or MAT? What funding opportunities are available? What are the admissions requirements and deadlines? Admissions staff from programs across the region and in a wide variety of disciplines, including UWF departments, will answer these questions and more at the Professional and Graduate School Expo. If you are considering a post-baccalaureate degree in the future, this is an excellent way to network face-to-face with recruiters and position yourself as a strong candidate in the highly competitive application process.

Fall Science & Engineering Employer Showcase

Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering (Building 4)

The Fall Science & Engineering Employer Showcase connects students in engineering, math, science and technology majors with regional employers looking to fill internshipfull-time employment or Co-op positions. This event conveniently takes place in the Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering (Building 4), making it easy to visit with employers before, after, or between classes.

Fall Business Career Expo

Oct. 24 | noon–3 p.m.
College of Business (Building 76A)

Take advantage of the opportunity to meet dozens of companies and organizations with full-time, Co-Op, or internship positions at the Business Career Expo. Students and alumni are able to network with employers who are actively seeking business, marketing, advertising, hospitality, management and/or information systems majors. This event conveniently takes place in the College of Business (Building 76A), making it easy to visit with employers before, after, or between classes.

Health Professions Career Fair

Nov. 6 | noon–3 p.m.

University Commons Auditorium

The Health Professions Career Fair provides a networking opportunity for students to learn about internship, practicum and job opportunities in different health-related industries. Recruiters from hospitals, social service agencies, and other health-related organizations will be seeking UWF students and alumni for full-time employment or internship experiences. Students and alumni from all majors are encouraged to attend, as many organizations are seeking candidates for open positions beyond care providers.

Set yourself up for success! Follow these guidelines to impress employers:

  • Business casual or business professional attire is expected
  • Bring multiple copies of your résumé for employers
  • Research employers before the event so you can ask insightful and relevant question
