The Campus Activity Board, or CAB, of the University of West Florida is a student-run organization dedicated to programming the best in diverse entertainment for students, faculty, staff, and the Pensacola community.
Through our numerous committees, students learn to plan events for the entire campus to enjoy. The Campus Activity Board programs everything from small events such as Open Mic Night to large events such as CAB After Dark and Student Talent Show. All CAB events are absolutely free to all UWF students. Also, any student can join CAB.
Students start out helping us make decisions related to food, prizes, and decorations, volunteering at events, and promoting the events on campus. As members gain experience, there are opportunities to work with visiting artists, contract performers, serve as the night’s emcee, and even take the lead on an event! Don’t miss this opportunity to meet a ton of students, learn valuable skills, and make a difference at UWF!
The end-of-the-year blowout block party extravaganza! The party is so big we can't fit it inside. Check out myriad attractions, games, activities, music, food, beverages and T-shirts, all FREE for current UWF students! This is the can't-miss CAB event of the year and the greatest sendoff for our 2015 graduates. Past favorite attractions have included: zip line; roller rink; funnel cakes; body art; inflatable slides; photo booths; fried Oreos; local bands and professional touring DJs; and more.
Wristbands are required for entry; students must present a wristband and a valid Nautilus Card at entry. UWF student wristbands are free with a valid student Nautilus Card. General admission wristbands will be $10 in advance at $15 at the event. Wristbands will be made available at the Commons Service Desk & Ticket Center beginning April 15 and must be worn from the time of pickup through the event. Wristbands will also be available in various locations for UWF students, locations TBA.
