Postal Services Overview

UWF Postal Services operates a full-service U.S. Post Office in the University Commons (Bldg. 22).

All of the capabilities of a U.S. Post Office

Call it old fashioned, but what is a community without a post office? Examples of services available at UWF include: receiving and delivering business and personal mail, selling stamps, package wrapping assistance, parcel mailing, Priority Express (overnight) mail, certified, registered, and insured mail, USPS tracking, signature confirmation service, change of address cards and U.S. Passport information.

Hours – UWF Postal Services is open from 7:45am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Students may pick up packages at the Post Office on Saturdays from 7:30am to 11:00am. 

Mail box drop locations on the UWF campus – Postal Services (Commons, Bldg. 22), Advancement (Bldg. 12), Village East and Village West student apartments, Parking Lot B (water tower lot), between the Library (Bldg. 32) and College of Business (Bldg. 76A), and residence halls Pace, Argo, Martin, and between Heritage and Presidents Halls.

Mailboxes are provided to currently enrolled students living on campus. Resident mailboxes are located in the UWF Postal Services lobby.

USPS Holiday Shipping Schedule (Link to USPS deadlines and information for mailing to military Post Offices overseas.) – Please be aware of the various deadlines for cards and packages to arrive by December 25. Beginning November 17, and through Christmas Day, the USPS will deliver packages seven days a week in major cities and high-volume areas. 

Dec. 2 – First-Class Mail International/Priority Mail International
Dec. 10 – Priority Mail Express International
Dec. 15 – Standard Post
Dec. 17 – Global Express Guaranteed
Dec. 20 – First-Class Mail/Priority Mail (domestic)
Dec. 23 – Priority Mail Express (domestic)

Holiday stamps are now available at the UWF Post Office including, Poinsettias, Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Madonna and Child, Madonna & Candelabra, and Gingerbread Houses.
