As Gulf Power’s Vice President, Adrianne Collins provides leadership and direction to 550+ members of the Power Delivery team that includes Distribution, Transmission, Safety & Training, and Supply Chain Management. Adrianne received her Associates of Arts degree from the University of West Florida and her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
She most recently held the position of Transmission General Manager at Gulf Power Company, where she led transmission through the completion of its largest powergrid expansion program. Beginning her Southern Company career in 1998 as a distribution engineer at Gulf Power, Adrianne progressed through several engineering and leadership roles at Gulf Power and Georgia Power, transferring back to Gulf Power in 2013.
She serves as the lead coordinator for Southern Company’s National Society of Women Engineers Corporate Partnership Council membership and on the North American Energy Standards Board and Southern Electric Exchange Engineering and Operations Executive Committee.
In the community, she is currently on the Board of the Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Florida, a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, a member of IMPACT 100, Gulf Breeze Will Do, a sustaining member of Junior League, and a graduate of the Leadership Pensacola Class of 2016. She served as the 2016 Gulf Power United Way Campaign Chair and is a member of United Way’s Women United. Adrianne was appointed to the UWF Board of Trustees in June of 2017.
