Howard J. Reddy
- Interim Vice President for University Advancement
Appointed August 28, 2017, Howard J. Reddy currently serves as Interim Vice President for the Division of University Advancement. In this role, Reddy serves as a member of the President’s Cabinet and provides executive leadership to a team of more than 75 professionals in the Division of University Advancement, overseeing the university’s integrated marketing and communications efforts, as well as all of the development and alumni relations’ activities.
Additionally, as Interim President for UWF Foundation, Inc., Reddy oversees the foundation’s current endowment investment pool which exceeds $89 million. As the institution’s chief philanthropic officer, Reddy is also responsible for the university’s 50th anniversary campaign closing end of 2017.
As Interim CEO, Reddy also leads the efforts of UWF Historic Trust, formerly known as West Florida Historic Preservation Inc., which is dedicated to collecting, preserving and interpreting the history of Northwest Florida, as well as the management of 28 properties in the Pensacola Historic District. In addition, Reddy oversees WUWF Public Media, which creates, acquires and distributes audio and video content through broadcast, web and community outreach.
Prior to this appointment, Reddy served as the Assistant Vice President for University Advancement and as the Director of Community Engagement. He has also served as a faculty member in both the music and theatre departments at UWF from 2012 to 2015. A former Fulbright Scholar, he holds a Degree in Law and Business from University College Dublin in Ireland, and is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.
