The mission of UWF Advancement Services is to ensure the responsible and ethical management of alumni and donor information, as well as to provide information services and infrastructure in support of fundraising and engagement activities for the Division of Advancement and the University of West Florida overall.
Advancement Services manages and supports the alumni and friends database with a focus on reporting, accessibility, reliability, and accountability. The Advancement Services team provides professional and sound management, analytical and practical reporting, and oversight and maintenance for more than 100,000 records.
Management and support services include gift processing and gift acknowledgement, and the development, supervision and maintenance of alumni and donor constituent information. It is the responsibility of Advancement Services to safeguard all the information collected by and resulting from the pursuit of the mission and goals of University Advancement. Advancement Services continuously strives to improve systems and provide the most relevant and useful information to its users.
Confidentiality of Alumni and Donor Information
Our alumni and donors' right to privacy is paramount. The University of West Florida and the University of West Florida Foundation, Inc. are committed to protecting the security and confidentiality of information concerning our alumni and friends. We follow all CASE, applicable federal and state laws and regulations as well as University of West Florida policies governing the collection, use, maintenance and dissemination of information.
Advancement Services Request Forms
AS Request Forms include data requests to accommodate the needs of the University Community with mailing list, statistical information, and Business Intelligence reporting. Data request forms are available by logging in via MyUWF (Search Advancement Services). These request forms will help us identify your objectives and needs, as well as, aid us in understanding your goals with regard to your request.
