Frank Ferdik is an Assistant Professor with the criminal justice department at the University of West Florida (UWF). He has been with UWF for less than one year and is very excited to be a part of this academic institution. His academic interests include Veteran
Treatment Courts, criminal justice actor decision-making, risk assessment within the criminal justice field and perceptual outcomes. Frank has taught a variety of criminal justice-based courses, including American Criminal Justice System, Ethics and the Justice System, Comparative Criminal Justice and Research Methods in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He is the author of six peer-reviewed manuscripts, including one solo author in a top-ranked journal in criminology. He currently lives in Milton, FL., and enjoys very much watching European soccer and visiting the beautiful Pensacola area beaches.
