Dr. Cindy Golden is a retired special educator with 30+ years experience as a principal, assistant director, school psychologist, central office supervisor and teacher. She has received several teaching awards in her career and her focus is serving students with severe emotional and behavioral needs and autism. She is a published author and nationally known speaker/trainer. Cindy’s doctorate is in Special Education with a focus on Autism. She serves as an adjunct faculty at the University of West Florida and also serves as a trainer for CARD – the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities out of Florida State University. Dr. Golden finished up her first year of online teaching and is currently teaching courses in Exceptionalities and the Survey of Normal and Abnormal Language and Speech Development.
