Facilitated by experienced online instructor/QM Certified Trainer: June Watkins

The APPQMR workshop is QM's flagship workshop on the QM Rubric and the process of using the QM Rubric to review online courses. It is the first step in becoming a QM reviewer and intended for faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about the QM Rubric and process of course review.  The APPQMR is the prerequisite for the Peer Reviewer Course, which is the required course to become a QM Peer Reviewer.

Quality Matters Peer Reviewer Certification (PRC)

The Peer Reviewer Certification (PRC) is taken to become a certified QM Reviewer and requires the completion of the APPQMR course. This is a two week, fully online, asynchrounous course, facilitated by Quality Matters Staff, that requires about 8-10 hours per week to complete.  includes a review of Quality Matters, practice critiquing and writing helpful recommendations, and a Practice Review in which the participants are asked to review Specific Standards in an online course using QM's Course Review Management System (CRMS).
