APA format is utilized in all formal course work and an APA template package is highly recommended at an approximate cost of $30.
While the program is 100% online there are assignment and activity components within individual courses that comprise the practice portion of the degree; for example (this listing may not be all inclusive) the student will be required to procure non-family member volunteers for health assessment interviewing and practice skills, and obtain the cooperation of an MD or ARNP to validate assessment techniques. A family assessment and community assessment will be performed. The student will also be planning and implementing a community educational program based on evidenced needs assessment and will require the resources in order to complete this assignment.
