Dr. Jacquelyn Adams is the Associate Principal horn of the Pensacola Symphony and has performed with a variety of ensembles such as the Opera Company of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Mobile Symphony Orchestra, Northwest Florida Symphony, National Symphony of the Dominican Republic, Kanye West, Luciano Pavarotti, as well as multiple NYC Broadway pit orchestras. Adams was the featured horn soloist at Canada's Sixth International Horn Day 2012, a regional soloist at the Mid-South Horn Workshop 2012 and also presented "Playing Outside the Lines: Creating and Marketing Your Own Horn Niche" at the 2012 International Horn Symposium 44. Television and movie appearances include CBS's "The Early Show," Disney's "Step Up 3D" and BET's 2007 Music Awards; she also records regularly for NFL Films. Audio recordings include Genghis Barbie's "Debut Album," Astor Piazzolla's "Oblivion," and David Byrne & St. Vincent's latest album "Love This Giant." Dr. Adams earned a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Curtis Institute of Music, a Master of Music Degree from Yale University and a Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree from SUNY Stony Brook.
