We are in a Renaissance!  The last four years in the Department of Music have seen national student, faculty and program recognition, record recruiting numbers aided by our "All-Steinway" designation, accreditation of new programs of study, and record attendance numbers at our concerts and events.  We continue our dedication to provide an exceptional educational experience for our students and enjoyable performances to our community.  I invite you to be part of our renaissance by attending our concerts and events and experience first hand the quality and diversity of our programs.

I will be handing the reigns of the Music Department for an interim academic year to Dr. Gregory Lanier as I make a sojourn to the office of Vice President of University Advancement. The Department will be in capable hands as will the Center for Fine and Performing Arts with Assistant Director, Jerre Brisky. Please continue to support the department and Fine and Performing Arts.
