The program is 100% online, which allows you to earn your degree anytime and anywhere. It offers online E-coaches and 24/7 Help Desk technical support. How will the curriculum prepare me for professional leadership and administration?
The MSA core curriculum (12 hours) provide a solid foundation in areas such as organizational behavior, marketing, finance, E-Business, and economics. This firm foundation prepares you to assume administrative positions in general settings while your chosen specialization preapres you for management and leadership in a specific field.
What are the general requirements for admission?
Applicants must possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. In addition to general university minimum standards of admissions to graduate study, some specializations may have additional requirements. International students must take the TOEFL and submit passing scores according to University standards.
What is the GRE?
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required for all specializations. Provisional admission may be granted to students who are admitted to a specialization without taking the GRE, but the GRE must then be completed within the first semester. In some cases, the GMAT is an acceptable substitution for the GRE; minimum acceptable score on the GMAT is 450.

Students may receive a maximum of six (6) semester hours of academic credit for graduate work completed with a grade of "B" (3.0) or better at another accredited university. Transcripts, along with copies of course syllabi, must be presented with the application for transfer credit.

Once we receive your application and related documents (e.g. transcripts, test scores) we begin reviewing your materials. Although we have a flexible admission application deadline, it is best to have your application and documents in at least 12 weeks prior to the beginning of the semester that you want to begin classes. The application processes varies by department, but usually requires a minimum of 3 weeks once all documents are received.

How do I get to LightHouse?
Click on LightHouse from the prospective student link on the home page or go to http://lighthouse.uwf.edu. The default PIN is your birth month and day, with leading zeros (Example: February 6th = 0206). After successfully entering your default PIN, you will be required to create a new PIN. On future visits to LightHouse, you will be required to use your new PIN. To protect your personal information, you should exit the LightHouse system by clicking the "Log Out" icon at the top of the page.
ARGUS (the UWF web portal) is a secure personalized student information system. ARGUS is designed for all currently enrolled UWF students and is available 24 hours a day (except for routine maintenance) from any computer with Internet access and browser software (e.g., Internet Explorer). How do I get to Argus?
You may access Argus from the UWF home page or at http://argus.uwf.edu. If you are a first time user of Argus, then you will use the "New User Wizard" to activate your account. You will enter your social security number and your birthdate in a month/day/year format (Example: February 6, 1965 = 02/03/1965). Upon completion of the activation process, you will receive an ArgoNet username and password by e-mail. To protect your personal information, you should exit Argus by clicking the "Log Out" icon at the top of the page. Twenty-four hours after your first registration, you should log on to Argus. Argus will serve as your internet access to on-line information throughout your educational career at UWF.

I live outside of Florida. How do I apply for a tuition waiver to receive in-state tuition?
Students living outside of Florida may receive in-state tuition by applying for a tuition waiver each semester. This makes tuition for the MSA only $249.17 (Florida residents) and $269.17 (Non-Florida residents) per credit hour! Where can I find a list of available scholarships or graduate assistantships?
Scholarships, Graduate Assistantships, Research Assistantships, and Teaching Assistantships are available through the Department which houses your MSA specialization. Please contact the MSA Coordinator in your Department for more information. The Office of Financial Aid also has information about university, state, and private scholarships.
