General Education Mobile (GEM - CCAF)

Welcome to the University of West Florida's general education programs in support of the CCAF GEM program. The GEM program is a partnership between the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and approved academic institutions. GEM courses offered by UWF are in a distance learning format to provide worldwide access reducing the impact of deployments, PCS and familiy commitments.

This program is specifically for the active duty Air Force students who desire to complete their CCAF degree and meet the 15 semester hour general education degree requirements with UWF's general education courses.

Apply and register for the GEM Program : Service members who are attending courses at UWF specifically for the GEM program are reminded to apply as a non-degree seeking student.

GEM Courses Schedule for
Summer Semester 2013

All courses are A term; 5/13/2013 - 8/9/2013 Tuition for GEM/UWF online courses, Tuition and fees for GEM courses is the same as UWF's online courses. Out of state students must complete the out-of-state tuition waiver form.

When enrolling in a course, please be sure to complete your Tuition Assistance (TA) application witihin the AFVEC GEM search plan.
