Buzz and Larue Ambersley Scholarship

A scholarship has been established in the name of Buzz and Larue Ambersley with the University of West Florida Fundation, Inc.

This scholarship may award up to $2500* per semester and should not exceed $5000* per year. This award will be applied to the fall semester 2012 tuition. The scholarship may be renewed, not to exceed 8 semesters, as long as the recipient is making progress toward graduation.

Eligibility requirements:

1. A dependent (child or spouse) of a non-commissioned officer (veteran, deceased or active duty) who is a resident of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa or Walton Counties.


2. Undergraduate student


3. Must meet UWF enrollment requirements


4. Minimum GPA of 2.5


5. Complete and submit the application before the deadline of 4 PM on Friday, May 10, 2013.
