Course Catalog Description |

Prerequisite: STA 2023, EXP 3082, EXP 3082L. Pre/Corequisite: EXP 4507 |
|
Students will learn about the research methods used to investigate topics in memory and cognition. Students will conduct experiments, perform statistical analysis appropriate for the data generated, and prepare brief reports of results using APA style. Students will complete a final project in which they design and conduct an experiment in the area of memory and cognition, analyze the data, and prepare an APA style research report. |

Course Objectives |
|
This course is designed to give you hands-on experience with conducting research on memory and cognition. You will participate in several psychological experiments in class to familiarize you with the types of research studies conducted in the field. You will also learn how to collect data, use computers for data analysis, and write research reports in APA style. |
