MBA Program

UWF student on computer

Our MBA is designed for the time-constrained working professional, with a comprehensive integrated curriculum geared toward current business practices.

Welcome and thank you for your interest in the University of West Florida MBA program. The UWF MBA Program is fully accredited by AACSB - The International Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB accreditation represents the highest standard for business schools worldwide, with less than 5% of programs in the world achieving this accreditation.

The mission of our MBA Program is to prepare working and aspiring professionals with the skills necessary to embrace business opportunities through high-impact educational experiences. These experiences include the use of live cases in the classroom, participation in case competitions, traveling for international study abroad, and involvement in collaborative projects.

An MBA can provide you with the competitive edge to get ahead. Research shows that MBAs get significantly higher paychecks than those with just an undergraduate degree. Many working MBA students receive a number of raises and promotions while pursuing and upon completion of their MBA degree.

Our MBA is designed for the time-constrained working professional, with a comprehensive integrated curriculum geared toward current business practices. You are able to choose from a General MBA (33 semester hours) or an MBA with an Area of Emphasis (36 semester hours).

We have two delivery platforms for our program. The face-to-face MBA Program allows the qualified student an opportunity to complete his or her MBA in five semesters. In addition, participants complete their classes in the evening with a cohort of working professionals from education, government, industry and the military. Our online MBA offers the convenience of taking classes without the constraints of classroom attendance.

The MBA Office is eager to assist you in this next important step of your education. We recommend you schedule an advising appointment with an MBA advisor prior to applying to the program. Should you have any questions regarding the enclosed information, you may contact us at mba@uwf.edu, or call 850.474.3124. We look forward to welcoming you into our program.

We invite you to explore the possibility of an MBA and all that it can do for your professional life.
