The University of West Florida will host the MAA Florida chapter local meeting Friday, November 16, and Saturday, November 17, 2012. Current program schedule and abstracts can be found here.
We invite all students working on a research project, pro seminar, thesis, etc. to give a 20 minute presentation of their work.
There is a $30 registration fee - which includes refreshments, lunch buffet and dinner- for teachers. Registration for students is free, unless they decide to participate in the dinner event, for which a $15 fee is required. The registration fee should be paid on site, on November 16, 2012.
We hope that all of us in the Northwest Florida area will decide to participate in some way. If you wish to present or have a student that wishes to present, please respond by October 26, 2012, to the email below with your name, your institution, and the title and abstract of your presentation.
