Research Interests

I am currently working on the following research topics:

• Developing Control Charts for the Mean and the Variance of a Process. This includes parametric and nonparametric charts, univariate and multivariate charts.
• Mapping Cancer Rates in Florida, with emphasis on Northwest Florida. Use is made of the SCAN Statistic in addition to other statistical methods.
• Statistical computing techniques in the simulation of some properties of control charts and tolerance limits.
