During the brand unification process and the launch of the Comprehensive Brand Guide, the M&CS team developed two foundational courses for the program. The first course explores fundamental marketing, specific marketing functions and how they relate to one another, as well as the basic four-step process to effective marketing.
The second course builds upon the first course and introduces the UWF brand and its elements to the participants, showcasing the core M&CS philosophy and how to effectively utilize our services and resources. These foundational courses are required in order to participate in Phase II, and must be taken in the appropriate order.
Once participants have completed Phase I, M&CS will offer courses designed specifically to meet the diverse needs of members of the campus community who are performing a variety of marketing duties and responsibilities on behalf of their department or unit. In order to successfully complete Phase II and receive your certification you must complete five additional courses. You must choose and complete four of the following seven courses within a two-year period:
Once you have completed four of the above listed courses, you must complete the summary course entitled: Integrated Marketing Communications. This course will be offered beginning Spring 2013.
