At the undergraduate level, the Department of Marketing and Economics offers a Minor in Quantitative Economics. This minor is designed for those who wish to learn about math-oriented applications of economic theory. It provides students in a wide variety of majors the opportunity to add value to their major degree. It is especially appropriate for students with strong mathematics backgrounds who plan to build a career as an analyst in financial organizations.
The Quantitative Economics Minor requires a minimum of 9 semester hours of required upper division course work to be completed at UWF. All courses must be completed with a minimum grade of "C" or better in each. The Minor in Quantitative Economics is available for all students.
