MBA students Angus (Trey) Powell, Katie Martin, and Joanna Roland of the College of Business received the Best Student Case Award at the recently held SECRA (Southeast Research Case Association) conference held at Myrtle Beach February 16 - 19, 2012. The students developed a case titled "The Pantry Inc.: A Viable Organization for the Twenty-First Century" as a requirement of their MBA Strategy course under guidance of Dr. Blaine Lawlor, Assistant Professor, Management/MIS. Dr. Lawlor presented the case at the conference. This is the second year that a student case guided by Dr. Lawlor has received the Best Case award at the SECRA conference.
