Tutoring

The Learning Center provides tutoring in all major subject areas offered at the University. These subjects include but are not limited to:

• Mathematics: Prep Algebra, College Algebra, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus I-III, and Discrete Mathematics.
  
• Science: Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Zoologoy, and Botony.
  
• English: Comp I, Comp II, and Literature.
  
• Business: Business Calculus, Accounting, and Finance.
  
• Foreign Languages: Spanish, French, and German.

Paper Editing

The Learning Center offers paper editing for all subject areas. Students can drop off papers in the Learning Center, sit down and go over papers with tutors, or email papers to be edited. Papers can be emailed to learningcenter@uwf.edu. All papers require an editing time of 24-48 hours per every 10 pages. Paper Editing is a support tool. Tutors are not responsible for grades received on papers.

CLAST Exam Prep

The Learnign Center offers tutoring for the Mathematics, English, Writing, and Reading portions of the CLAST Exam. Practice tests are available on the Learning Center's CLAST Prep website. Students can print out the practice tests, work the problems, and bring in the results to go over with a tutor. Webcasts are also availble to assist students with the CLAST.
