Community service opportunities help students become informed, responsible citizens. We support student volunteers by identifying opportunities, facilitating placement with service opportunities, and recognizing participation in community service. The Community Service Program is committed to building bridges between our campus community and the local community. We strive to be resources that can help match the issues our students are passionate about to the organizations or agencies that are addressing those specific issues.
National Volunteer week is April 6th- 12th! We want to celebrate and showcase students who are in the community making a difference and impacting their community positively. We hope to encourage, inspire, and empower students to volunteer within their community! By collectively working together to make a difference, change can occur. We will be celebrating volunteer week by hosting a food drive for Argo Pantry and partnering with Manna Food Pantries for a community based food drive and Easter Egg hunt.
